Morpheus8
Morpheus8 plans depend on the tip pin count and depth, with face and body tips quoted differently.
How it works
Morpheus8, made by InMode, is a microneedle fractional radiofrequency device. Its handpiece accepts tips with different numbers of pins, and the needles enter the skin to an adjustable depth before releasing radiofrequency energy. Deeper settings are available for the body than for the face. The aim is to remodel tissue below the surface, and recovery commonly includes redness, swelling or pinpoint marking that varies by person.
Good to know
- Tips differ in pin count, and a larger tip covers more skin per pulse, which affects the number of pulses a plan needs.
- Face and body call for different tip types and depth ranges, so give each its own item on a quote.
- Pulses and passes both appear on clinic price lists, so ask which one yours counts.
- InMode also makes Forma, a non-invasive device, and a quote should not confuse the two.
How Morpheus8 affects a treatment quote
Start by asking which tip is planned and how many pulses it will deliver. That pair of facts is the nearest thing to a shot count on this device. If the clinic prices by area, ask for the tip and approximate pulse number behind the area price.
Then consider depth. A shallower pass for texture and a deeper pass for laxity are different goals, and some clinics bill them separately. Ask for numbing, the number of sessions and the interval, and whether a second visit is already included. Post-care products and VAT should each be a stated yes or no. The doctor settles the settings at the exam, so use pre-visit figures only for rough comparison.
Morpheus8: common questions
Does the tip size change what I pay?
It can, because a different tip changes the number of pulses a plan needs. Ask for the tip name and the pulse count.
Are face and body priced together?
Usually they are separate, with different tips and depths. Ask for each as its own line.
Does the quote include numbing?
It might not. Microneedle work often involves numbing, so confirm whether it is itemized.
