How it works

Volnewmer is a monopolar radiofrequency system made by Classys that operates at 6.78 MHz. A water-cooling element at the tip is intended to keep the skin surface comfortable while energy reaches the deeper tissue. Treatment proceeds shot by shot across the face or neck, and the heat is meant to encourage collagen remodeling over time. Individual response varies, and the device is not a substitute for surgery.

Good to know

• The tip is the consumable, with a rated number of shots, and a clinic may price the plan around how many tips it uses.
• Cooling does not change the unit of pricing, but it can affect how many passes a doctor is comfortable making in one visit.
• Classys also makes Shurink Universe and ULFIT, so check that the written name is Volnewmer and not another of the maker's products.
• Face and neck are commonly counted in separate shot totals.

How Volnewmer affects a treatment quote

Most of what you need sits in two lines of the estimate: the shot count and the tip. Ask how many shots the doctor expects to place on the face and whether the neck is in addition. If a tip runs out partway through a plan, ask whether a second tip is added to the total.

Then look at pacing. Some clinics treat Volnewmer in one longer visit, others in a few shorter ones, and the price is tied to that structure. Make sure the quote says how many visits it covers. Numbing, VAT and any consultation fee are separate answers. Treat the count in any pre-visit message as provisional, since the doctor sets it after examining skin laxity.
